Selfconscious Selfdiscovery

Pictures say a 1000 words, well words say a 1000 pictures too.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a love for books. My background is in journalism, and I have worked in libraries twice in my 32 years on this planet. In the past year the idea of self publishing my work has been planted in my brain. So I have been looking around at the top few selfpublishing companies. They all have the same thing in common, money up front to use their service. The prices all seem to stem in the same range $400-$600 for a basic package. I have also been looking at the idea of going back to school and getting my degree in Library Studies. I have not gone forward on the selfpublishing packages because I simply dont have the money for it.

I am a woman of extreme selfconsciousness and insecurities. Because of a young male friend whom I have been talking to on the net for the last 7 months, I have slowly acepted certin things about myself that I would never have believed before. And part of that has lead me to photography as both photographer and model. It is fun and exciting as it is scary. Having to face all my flaws and overcome them.
